The ORGANIZATION OF STUDENT WEBMASTERS is more than just a club. It is an opportunity to expand your knowledge of web development past the lectures and labs, into the cutting edge. In the OSWM, members will have access to workshops that will aid in the advancement of their education. Students who JOIN will meet others who share their passion for WEB DEVELOPMENT, while building lasting relationships that could transend into valuable networks for future projects in the business world. President:
Daniel Richard - View the President's Blog
- -Represents the Club as a whole
- -Runs weekly Club meetings
- -Presides over Club activities
- -Updates Club documentation
- -Organizes community services activities
- -Responsible for making sure all officers are performing their duties
- -Creates (or work with secretary to create) and abide by an agenda for your weekly meeting
- -Creates (or work with secretary to create) a list of upcoming events/meetings (3 terms)
- -Lead the entire membership in a well-rounded program of activvities and projects
- -Meets with faculty advisor to cover agenda points, upcoming activities, and Club issues
Vice President:
Myrnalyn Castillo
- -Assists the Club president with duties
- -Presides over weekly meetings in the absnce of the Club president
- -Obtains ideas from members and pass them onton the president
- -Involved in membership development by working closely with the membership chair
- -Assumes the role and responsibilities of the president in te event that the acting president is no longer able to full-fill his/her duties
Webmaster:
Mat Howard & Tonya Macionis
- -Updates the Club website as needed
- -Makes backup of the entire website every 3 terms
Secretary:
Samantha Arias
- -Types up agendas for weekly meetings
- -Records minutes for all meetins
- -Keeps record of all important files
- -Reports pertinent information o officers who were absent from meetings
- -Records name of officers and Club member who are present at weekly meetings
- -Calls attention to any unfinished business from past meetings
- -Keeps record of all money and receipts
- -Reports regularly to the officers bout Club finances
Assistant Secretary:
Position Open
- -Assists secretary with duties
- -Attends meetings/activities in the absence of the secretary
- -Update Club blog with news and events as needed
Membership Chair:

- -Develops strategies to increase Club membership
- -Maintains personal contact information for all Club officers and Club members
- -Develops and updates membership application, member cards, and member records
- -Collects and tracks membership dues
- -Maintains point system
- -Maintains and monitors Club e-mail list
- -Informs members of any events/activities
- -Updates bulletin board
Fund Raiser Coordinator:
Christine Brandt
- -Meets with members and officers to develop ideas for fundraising events
- -Plans and organizes fundraising events
- -Creates Club awareness among students and keep them informed of fundraising events
- -Advertises fundraising events (college event calendar, posters, website, etc.)
- -Works with the Club secretary with earned and needed funds for fundraising events
